LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

Today was the first full day of Olympics. Eight teams, representing eight countries, will battle day and night over the next few days until one winner is standing.

​

After waking and meeting/strategizing with their teams, the campers went into an all team sprint. The teams also learned they have until the end of the day to complete their plaque. These are artistic and witty designs that will represent their country and stay on our walls. 

​

From there, activities included a one-pitch baseball tournaments for our oldest tribes, and a swim meet and tennis cup for TJC and LSR.  
 

The afternoon was filled with a triathlon, a pentathlon, a biathlon, and a hair salon (ok that one is a joke). We also had a track meet and pickleball tournament. 

​

Evening events were split by age group, with competitions including Gaga, hockey, flag football, volleyball, and tennis. Finally, the day ended with a speed skating hockey tournament.
