****OLYMPICS HAVE BROKEN. OLYMPICS HAVE BROKEN***

On Saturday, the boys started their morning with regular activities. At the end of period 4, they were called to LSR campus for a "special snack".

Kevin started delivering instructions and all campers were asked to get into separate groups, then stand in line. They  had to fill out documents about themselves (names, skills, hobbies), then hand it in - like TSA at an airport.

While we didn't officially say what was happening, the energy and rising excitement around campus made it clear that Olympics was soon to begin. The campers proceeded to Kruger to receive wristbands and were then divided into groups of five.

The groups were then given specifics tasks and challenges to be completed. They likely knew they were being evaluated. Thus, when each group completed their task in the field house, they were presented in front of 8 doors. They had to pick a door, and a Seneca - the lead for that Olympic team - would appear and decide if that group's skills fit with his team. He's either take them to his team, or another team would get the change to slot the group into their team. This went on until our final Olympic teams were set.

Then, the torch was lit and our evening activity - a tug of war marked the official kick-off to the Olympic Games! Stay with us here and on Instagram for more Olympic news.
