The day started off in a normal way... kids playing tennis, basketball, roller derby and the like.

B8 had a flag football tournament.

​

Later in the afternoon, when everyone was back, they gathered by the campfire for a "Philly pretzel giveaway". But, the event was soon interrupted by some "Men in Black" carrying a large trophy.

​

Our veteran campers knew exactly what was going on - this was the beginning of Olympics Break!

​

Soon, everyone was shuttled to the Field House where bright lights flashed and an Olympic video played. Then, the Senecas came out to show the camp which team each of them were on and announce the team captains. And then, the Olympic sorting for all campers began...

Once the teams were arranged, the first event - a huge tug-of-war took place. 

​

It's pretty cool that our campers are competing in the Olympics all while the real Olympics are taking place as well! It lends itself to an extra layer of energy and excitement!
