Green & White (our Color War) has officially broken out! As of this moment, your campers are in an all-day-all-night battle for their team win.

The break was, as always, extremely exciting. But first, the boys had a beautiful, active day. We hosted a basketball tournament and some of the older campers - the Cheyenne and Navajo, went to a lunch social at Camp Danny.

​

Then, after Period 4, the boys went back to their bunks for a snack and just as they settled in...mayhem broke loose. Music, yelling, dancing, and shouting could be heard all over camp. As the boys emerged to investigate, they were brought running to the Field House by leaders in Green & White shirts.

Waiting there were two professional rugby players and all of the Green & White fanfare. Color War had clearly broken out, everyone donned their team shirts, and the first event was about to begin.

The rugby players took everyone through some drills, showing them the basics of the sport. Then, 7 players from Green and 7 players from White were selected to compete - with a rugby pro as their coach. The game went NECK AND NECK before finally ending with a 15-15 tie. So, just like The World Cup, we had to go to penatly kicks. And in the end, Green took the big win. More G&W to come!
